WHERE DID THE BLOG GO?
Soooo incredibly sorry! My isp went tits up on Tuesday and wouldn't give me access until late last night - so I can honestly say that i haven't lapsed (and no, I don't blog at work) - and besides, very little has happened. Spring (the temperate feeling of) is looming in and out between days, leaving all of us baffled. Is it hot? Cold? John Waters said one of the things he hates is when people (esp East Coasters) get the first pseudo-warm day of spring and decide to wear shorts, only later to find them freezing at the bus stop in the evening because it's too cold. Well - it's one of those kinds of days... I am feeling the itch - the need to go out, be active and social (especially on a friday night) -- but the other half of me is still cold and cranky from winter - wanting to be indoors, walled up w/my DVD player and a Laura Linley movie.
In any case - all week I've been wanting to link this great art piece on historical screen shots... Why be Laura Croft and shoot fake cgi zombies when history is the most terrifying videogame of them all?
Ok - enough cynicism before the weekend.
